five central Indiana banks with 28 offices. First National
Bank & Trust is now the largest privately held bank
in Indiana with assets totaling in excess of $1 billion.
In addition, Trust assets total more than $400 million.
Most importantly, it is the owners’ intentions
to remain independent in the face of today’s world
of bank mega-mergers.
First National Bank & Trust has been a customer of
The Bassets Fixed Asset System since 1999. Prior to using
Bassets, First National Bank & Trust maintained their
fixed asset data in multiple, separate data files. Bassets
enabled the bank to consolidate all of the separate data
files into one database that has greatly simplified their
data management. Later, when First National Bank & Trust
purchased another bank, the data import utility in Bassets
provided a user friendly way for the bank to import and
append the acquired bank’s data with the existing
Bassets data.
Within the last year, First National Bank & Trust has
recommended The Bassets Fixed Asset System to another bank
that has become another satisfied customer.
