Bassets Fixed Asset System 

The Asset Maintenance form contains six (6) tabs that provide the user with an outstanding array of functionality to calculate depreciation and manage the organization's assets.

The Fields, Books and More tab provide the user with:
· Automated, table driven data entry that will load 10 of the 12 required data fields based upon the users selection of the asset type code.
· 22 User Definable data fields to define the organization's hierarchy for reporting purposes and to define specific asset information that needs to be tracked on the organization’s assets.
· Data validation routine error checks all depreciation related data for accuracy based upon IRS regulations and GAAP rules.

The Notes and Image tab provide the user with:
· The Notes tab enables the user to enter miscellaneous information about an asset.
· The Image tab allows the user to display images, such as the scanned image of an invoice, a digital or scanned image of the assets, etc.

The Browse tab enables the user to query the data set:
· The Columns button allows the user to select the specific data tables and data fields needed for the query, as well as, perform a three level sort on the selected data.
· The Filter button enables the user to drill down into their data. For example, to only see those assets in a specific division, department and/or location.
· Export the selected subset of data to an Excel or Lotus spreadsheet, a dBase table or an ASCII file.
